Confirmed Tottenham signings

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – Tottenham have completed the signing of Hojbjerg from Southampton on a five-year contract, joining for a fee of around £15m plus bonuses.

Joe Hart – Tottenham have completed the signing of goalkeeper Hart on a free transfer.

Gareth Bale – Jose Mourinho is prepared to offer the Welshman a route out of Real Madrid and wants to bring him back to the Premier League (Cuatro, August 20)

Pervis Estupinan – The Watford left back is wanted by Tottenham and rated at £15m – even though he has never kicked a ball for the Hornets (Mirror, August 16); Chelsea, Tottenham and Barcelona have all been looking at Watford youngster Estupinan (Daily Express, August 9).

Ainsley Maitland-Niles – Tottenham are eyeing a shock move for Arsenal academy graduate Maitland-Niles after he was told he was free to leave the Emirates this summer (Daily Star, August 9)

Jose Mourinho is worried the move would cause unwanted unrest among his Spurs squad due to the midfielder’s large salary (Daily Star, June 4).

Nicolo Zaniolo – Spurs are tracking the Roma midfielder ahead of a potential approach this summer (Guardian, July 24).

Confirmed Tottenham departures

Jan Vertonghen and Michel Vorm – Tottenham have confirmed Jan Vertonghen and Michel Vorm have left the club following the expiry of their contracts.

Kyle Walker-Peters – The full-back has signed a permanent five-year deal at Southampton after spending the second half of last season on loan with the club.

Harry Winks – Man City are lining up a shock £40m bid for the Spurs midfielder with Jose Mourinho willing to sell (The Sun, August 14); Spurs’ pursuit of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has plunged the England midfielder’s future at the club into doubt (Mirror, July 19).

Ryan Sessegnon – Newcastle will offer the left back a way out of his Tottenham limbo as Steve Bruce pursues a plan to buy British (The Sun, August 11); Ajax want to take Sessegnon on loan and have asked Tottenham whether the England Under-21 winger will be made available next season (Daily Telegraph, August 8); Tottenham will reject all offers for English wing-back Ryan Sessegnon this summer despite interest from Barcelona in the 20-year-old (Daily Star, July 12).

Tanguy Ndombele – Tottenham have not rekindled talks with Inter Milan over Ndombele (Daily Mail, August 4); The midfielder wants to join Inter Milan but Spurs are reluctant to let him go (Mirror, August 1). Inter Milan are interested in signing midfielder Ndombele from Tottenham. Sky in Italy say the Serie A side have made initial contact with Spurs over a potential deal for the 23-year-old Frenchman (Sky Sports, July 30).

Juan Foyth – Tottenham are willing to sell Serge Aurier or Juan Foyth to help fund a move to sign Lille right-back Zeki Celik (Daily Telegraph, August 8); Leeds are interested in signing the Tottenham defender (Daily Star, August 6); Newly promoted Leeds are lining up a £15m bid for Spurs’ Argentine defender (The Sun, July 29).

Kaziah Sterling – Recent Sunderland loanee Sterling is free to leave Tottenham this summer (Shield Gazette, June 28).

Harry Kane – Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has been informed by chairman Daniel Levy that he will not have to sell Kane this summer (Daily Mail, July 25); Jose Mourinho gave an impassioned defence of his influence on strikers amid criticism that his playing style will not bring out the best of Kane (Sky Sports, June 23).
