Feranmi and Adeoye were sitted in front of a marriage counselor and Adeoye was saying “I don’t understand her, this was not the lady I married, she has really changed. She has grown cold”

Feranmi: Ah ah but I tell you I love you everytime, infact I tell him how lucky I am to have him in my life. What have I not done and he is still claiming that I don’t live him!

Hmmm
So we are on episode 2 of love language gone wrong and guess what these people got it wrong again.

So it happened that Feranmi was speaking the wrong love language to Adeoye, you see Adeoye’s love language was act of service but Feranmi kept using “words of affirmation” on Adeoye. It’s not like word of affirmation is condemned totally, no! But Adeoye’s primary love language is Act of service

ACT OF SERVICE
By acts of service, I mean doing things you know your spouse would like you to do. You seek to please her by serving her, to express your love for her by doing things for her.
Such actions as cooking a meal, setting a table, washing dishes, vacuuming, cleaning a commode, getting hairs out of the sink, removing the white spots from the mirror e.t.c

Love is a choice and cannot be coerced. Feranmi and Adeoye were criticizing each other’s behavior and getting nowhere. This might seem hard but it is learnable and doable. Once you discover that the person dear to your heart  understands “Act of Service” as love. Try to do things they need help with……..

Doing these things for them would speak much more louder than you telling them. To people who falls under this category they prefer you help them out with a chore, just do something for them and that way they understand that you love them. The sacrifice, effort, time and love put into doing something particular for them is what moves them and they appreciate it more than you telling them you love them.

So do an act of service for that person dear to you today.
