Barcelona coach Xavi: Ter Stegen best in our history

Barcelona coach Xavi has declared Marc-Andre ter Stegen among the club’s greatest goalkeepers.

The Germany goalkeeper is fit to face Real Mallorca this weekend.

And Xavi paid tribute to Ter Stegen at today’s pre-match presser, stating: “With (Victor) Valdés, the best goalkeeper in the history of Barça.

“He is captain, leader, nobility, personality, daring. A captain in capital letters.”

Xavi also commented on Vitor Roque’s situation: “Many times it is the competition itself. It’s not easy, he has had minutes, opportunities… if he impresses he will participate and play, like everyone else.”
