Betty Irabor Marks 42nd Wedding Anniversary, Praises Husband Soni as Her Greatest Career Supporter

Media personalities, Betty and Soni Irabor, are celebrating their 42nd wedding anniversary today July 29.

The couple got married in 1983 and are blessed with 2 children.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Mrs Irabor reflected on their journey so far and how Soni has been a pillar of support to her.

She wrote;

FOR RICHER, FOR POORER

We’ve walked through both — seasons of abundance and times of need.

We’ve faced prosperity and adversity, hand in hand, anchored by faith and fortified by love.

IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH

From the pain of secondary infertility to the heartbreak of miscarriage…

Through the darkness of depression and the storm of a stroke — we stood together.

Unrelenting. Unshaken. Honoring the vows we made, choosing each other again and again.

TILL DEATH DO US PART

That part is beyond our control, but by God’s grace, we continue to journey together.

42 years on… and I still want to grow old with you, Soni boy.

Thank you for being my biggest career cheerleader, my faithful companion, my dearest friend.

When I tell my friends and family about your good deeds, they say,

“Betty, you honour your husband — that’s why he honours you too.”

We thank God for honoring us both.
