THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN COMRADES (NANC) EXPRESS WORRIES OVER THE CIVIL UNREST IN THE COUNTRY OF SUDAN.
Calls on the Federal Republic of Nigeria through it’s Ambassador to Sudan,Mr Safiu Olukayode Olaniyan to immediately convey it’s Citizens back home.
The lives and well being of the Nigerians in the Diaspora remain paramount in the heart of it’s responsive Government productively championed by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency,Muhammadu Buhari at all times and had demonstrated this at different occasions.
Consequent upon the above,the leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Comrades (NANC) led by it’s astute National President, his Comradeship, Comrade Ogbonnaya Chinwendu Emmanuel has called on the Nigerian Government to intervene in the current public peace interruption and civil unrest currently being witnessed in the respected Country of Sudan by conveying the Nigerian residing in the affected Country back home as a matter of urgency.
It has been a source of major concern over the sudden rise of avoidable conflicts between the Sudanese Military Armed Forces and Paramilitary Group(Rapid Support Force) which has led to the untimely death of innocent Citizens numbering about Four Thousand (4,000) or more.
Comrade Ogbonnaya in a statement personally signed by himself and made available to news Men through the office of the National Secretary of NANC described the ongoing fall out of peace and orderliness amongst the security outfits in Sudan as an avoidable scnerio after disclosing that,Sudan has been known as a peaceful and accommodative Country over the years and wondered, what could form the basis of the ongoing civil unrest. He further beckoned on the Federal Government of Nigeria through the office of the Ambassador to Sudan headed by Mr Safiu Olukayode Olaniyan to peacefully assist to ensuring that,the Nigerians residing in the affected Country return home to avert more death tolls and injuries already recorded from different spheres.
Comrade Ogbonnaya revealed that,the peaceful return of Nigerians from Sudan would further pave way for the affected Country to fix their security differences also restore law and order as less of foreign faces would be witnessed around. He also urged the Sudanese Country led by it’s National Leaders to shun all differences, personal aggrandizement and put the Country first and resolve all fall outs from all corners irrespective of the causes for the benefits of it’s Citizens and economy.
It has been established by reliable sources that,the Nigerians in Sudan are crying of insecurities, hunger and stavation.They had also lamented of being faced with theatre of fierce military confrontations capable of leading to waste of lives.
