In a desperate attempt to try and lure Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland to Stamford Bridge this summer, Chelsea are ready to step up their search and launch a humongous bid.
Chelsea are ready to break the bank to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland this summer, according to reports.
According to reports, the Blues are ready to table a £150million offer for the Norway international in the hope that it will be enough to convince Dortmund to offload him this summer.
Chelsea have been tracking the Leeds-born striker since before Christmas, meaning they have done plenty of homework on him in the last few months to determine whether or not he is worth £150m.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have shortlisted Haaland, Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku as possible options, but the links to Haaland are showing no signs of stopping.
It has already been well documented that Chelsea will have to pay over £100m to win the battle for his signature, but £150m would be an enormous offer. However, should Dortmund accept it and Chelsea win the race for his signature, it would no doubt leave their Premier League rivals stunned and almost certainly shaking.
