Malnourished Child Found Alone in Harsh Heat in Benue State
A severely malnourished baby, found under the scorching sun in Makurdi, Benue State.
The infant was found by a resident identified as Norman Skillful Tor, who raised the alarm on Facebook on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
According to Norman, the child belongs to a poor family fleeing herdsmen attacks.
“HELP NEEDED URGENTLY. I came across this little girl today in the hot sun seating and waiting for her death. I enquired to know the mum but they said she was sleeping. Any good humanitarian should pls come to her rescue. The poor Mum is a refugee taking refuge in Yagba,” he wrote.
