This Arsenal All or Nothing documentary is going to be some viewing, isn’t it?!
Well, it didn’t get off to the best of starts on Tuesday as Arsenal suffered a 2-1 opening pre-season day defeat to Scottish Premiership side, Hibernian.
Pre-season is pre-season, supporters can understand or take defeats, but sometimes it’s what is said afterwards that can annoy them.
And Arteta’s comments about Arsenal’s defeat has left a number of supporters bewildered.
He said that Arsenal played with ‘many kids’ during the game and they ‘only had four training sessions’ leading up to the match, as quoted by Football London.
And they are comments that haven’t gone down well with the Arsenal supporters.
The Arsenal team that started the pre-season game in Scotland consisted of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Eddie Nketiah, Willian, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Mohamed Elneny, Reiss Nelson, Pablo Mari, Sead Kolasinac and Cedric.
The only young guns were the goalkeeper, Arthur Okonkwo, who made the mistake for the opening goal and centre-back, Harry Clarke.
Arteta was perhaps better off looking at the positives and the positives only after this game and those comments have only left him open to criticism.
But this is pre-season and the real heat by Arteta and his players will be felt on that opening night against Brentford.
Here is a selection of Arsenal supporters reacting to Arteta comments from last night:
