The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has given a reason the force has stopped showing the faces of suspected criminals during a parade.

Adejobi gave the explanation in response to an X user who demanded that the public be able to see the faces of officers who were arrested for assaulting a man in Delta State. A photograph of the erring officers was released yesterday, but with their backs only showing.

Responding to the demand of the X user, Adejobi stated that the force respects the human rights of people and has since stopped parading suspected criminals.
